The AGCO is responsible for authorizing manufacturers to operate stores for the retail sale of alcohol made by that manufacturer. This includes on-site winery retail stores, off-site winery retail stores, on-site brewery retail stores and on-site distillery retail stores operated by licensed manufacturers.

Licensees are able to select a two or four-year term duration when applying for and renewing licences or authorizations, with fees payable to match the length of the term. For a description of the fee structure, please visit the Alcohol Licensing Fees page.
There are specific eligibility criteria and requirements for each type of store.
