The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Board of Directors has approved two new training programs for licence to deliver holders to expand consumer choice and convenience while ensuring the safe and responsible delivery of alcohol.
All approved training programs are designed to give licence to deliver holders—and anyone delivering alcohol or taking liquor orders on their behalf (e.g. employees or contractors)—the knowledge they need to meet their responsibilities under the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019 (LLCA), its Regulations and the Registrar’s Interim Standards and Requirements for Liquor.
Licence to deliver holders must ensure that every person delivering liquor or taking liquor orders for delivery (including employees and contractors) has a valid certificate demonstrating successful completion of one of the AGCO Board-approved training programs below.
