Lottery and Gaming
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) has updated the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming to support iGaming Ontario's Centralized Self-Exclusion (CSE) program, BetGuard, launching on May 14, 2026.
BetGuard is a player support tool that allows individuals to centrally self-exclude from all regulated online gambling sites in Ontario for pre-determined periods of time.
The AGCO’s standards are intended to help minimize gambling-related harm, protect vulnerable individuals, and support safer access to regulated online gaming.
