Overview
Public events are open to the public. There are many types of public events that need a liquor permit (special occasion permit). These include public events, industry promotional events, bring-your-own events, and auctions.
My event is
- for the general public (including a charity or fundraiser)
- an industry promotional event that promotes an alcohol manufacturer’s product
- a bring-your-own event, where attendees, 19 years and older, may bring their own liquor (BYOB) for consumption at a party in an area near a sporting event or a municipally designated cultural or community event
- an auction, where I will make money from the sale of liquor at an auction
