Check the Covid-19 webpage for relevant information regarding the current public health measures under the province’s Roadmap to Reopen affecting each of the AGCO’s regulated sectors.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) is responsible for administering the Liquor Licence Act (LLA) and specific sections of the Liquor Control Act (LCA), which together with the regulations made under them establish the licensing and regulatory regime for most aspects relating to the sale and service of alcohol in Ontario.

Among its regulatory activities in the alcohol sector, the AGCO is responsible for licensing and regulating manufacturers of wine, beer and spirits in Ontario as well as their representatives and representatives of foreign manufacturers.

This portal is intended for those seeking a manufacturer’s licence (or an associated liquor licence, such as a “tied house” or “by the glass” licence) or are already licenced by the AGCO to sell their products to the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO).

Use the resources below to help you apply for a licence or authorization or to better understand your obligations under Ontario’s regulatory framework for alcohol manufacturing and retailing.

You must complete all of your alcohol-related transactions with the AGCO online. For more information please visit the iAGCO Information page.
